The partridge pea flower, also known as Chamaecrista fasciculata, is a beautiful wildflower native to the eastern United States. It is an annual plant that grows to be about 1-2 feet tall and produces bright yellow flowers with a red star center. The flowers bloom from June to September and are a favorite of pollinators, such as bees and butterflies. Partridge pea flowers are also edible and can be used in salads, teas, and other recipes.
